Who are we?
The Whisky School is led by Graeme Robertson, a specialist whose journey through the spirits industry is defined by both academic rigour and practical mastery. With a BA in Marketing from the University of Stirling, Graeme combines a deep understanding of the global spirits trade with a lifelong passion for the craft of distillation.
Graeme’s expertise was forged in the heart of the industry, having worked at the historic Cameronbridge Distillery in Scotland before expanding his horizons to the American craft scene at Axe and Oak Distillery in Colorado. This dual-continent experience allows The Whisky School to offer a unique perspective on both traditional Scotch heritage and innovative “New World” techniques.
With a background rooted in 5 Diamond service, we bring an uncompromising level of hospitality to every session. Since 2018, Graeme has hosted hundreds of tastings and masterclasses, transforming complex spirit science into engaging, world-class experiences.
Having personally invested in hundreds of bottles, Graeme has curated a private library of liquid history that serves as the backbone of our curriculum. Whether you are a curious beginner or a serious collector, we invite you to learn from a founder who has lived every stage of the whisky-making process—from the grain to the glass.
